I've heard the stories of Mr. Argus (tele-voke claim bots), gilbuying, telewarps, and all the relative stuff. Unfortunately it's here to stay forever. As for perception, people will always have that image of someone they assume to be associated with said programs.

The fact that we can not be 100% sure of anything, other than meonmoenwnemoooomoooo, we rely on other people's experiences to help inform us, or arm ourselves about others through their dealing with that individual - provided we don't know that person.

Meomeonmomoomoooo - I'm jealous as fuk about the items he has, sure. I realize I might never afford the quantity and quality he has. But at least I can take pride in each and every little HQ victory or quest/mission/bcnm/ success earned.

I also know it wasn't earned, nor can I respect him and his ways he obtained what he has.


BBQ, LB, L7, Envy, etc, etc.

There are people in each of these mentioned shells that I really respect and consider friends. Whether it's' what they've earned through hard work or the talent they posess, that's what I respect and envy. It's good to see great things come through effort.

There might also be people there I also despise, or choose not to associate with, through first hand experience or hear say through reliable friends. More often than not I give people the benefit of the doubt.

Not to single out anyone, or these shells in specific, but to point out that friends have no barriers regardless of shells in which they reside, and this goes across server.


Ultimately there is always some kind of corruption, something going in the background from someone we know or affiliate with. We can't avoid this. Since we can't prove it 100%, we have to rely upon personal dealings or our friends personal dealings for information, then analyse it to see if the info makes sense. If it makes sense, we can choose to form an opinion based upon it or simply dismiss it an not accept it as enough evidence. It's all we really have since nothing in-game can 100% be proven as factual.

Salida has admitted buying gil to me before. He said the only time he bought it was when he was leveling BLM and he was leveling so fast, he couldn't farm fast enough to buy his spells. (BLM was his first job). Early on in his relationship with Catra, he had a Sirius pearl. He had just given Cat a Noble's tunic and something else I don't remember (Serket Ring maybe?). He was pressed on the gil-buying issue in Sirius one day. He didn't flat out say "I bought gil" in the LS chat, but he did say "I think it is obvious" or something to that effect when asked how he got so much gil. I felt like Salida had basically bought Cat's affections in buying gil and saying that in the LS, so I approached Salida about it and asked him directly. He said he didn't buy the gil for those particular items but he has bought gil before. The gil he obtained to buy those items were from items his friends had left him when they quit.

This may sound narrow minded, but I tend to avoid people I suspect of cheating, but end up being a little more forgiving when they admit their wrongdoings. I have no proof that this is the ONLY instance in Salida's gilbuying adventures, but his admission to me and his story for where he got the rest of his gil is entirely possible.

Trust me, I give people the benefit of the doubt as well. I knew Salida a bit back in his Black Mage days and since I was one as well I respected him for that. Same with Donnie being one of the first NA to level Warrior past level 37. Same with Bigger when I was in L7. But once things come to light I have a hard time forgiving people that don't bother to give two ****s about what they do to this game.

I used to be friends with Myrin for a long time. Then he up and went with Avalonx's little romp through sky with Smurfjr and I've since severed ties with him and just don't even bother to acknowledge him when he's around.

I'm probably the most vocal person here when it comes to them. But I find it hard to sit quiet as these bastards keep getting away with everything and still manage to get respect. Meanwhile I've been doing things the right way all this time and while I do have some items to show for it I'm far from "l337."

But then again...at least I don't hide behind a sock puppet account.
