It's a pretty good piece when you get a Brad, but before that you're better off shooting for a 6 hit body armor.

Stick with that while you're /SAM for the 6 hit like I said, even if you get the Noct Mail before Brad. Can use it for High ACC Jump Set, and looks amazing for WS, but you'll probably need to Jump in Askar to retain your 6 hit still. If there's any chance you can get Aurum, try to get that also, it's a fairly large increase over Askar.
