I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on what to make during the different levels of goldsmithing and alchemy to raise your skill fast, and if there is anything you can actually make a profit on.

I make ingots like crazy and that raises my skill very fast. Copper and Brass ingots will raise it pretty good, I hardly make the other stuff, they don't raise it as fast

You can raise your skill like crazy if you have gil up to the first 10 levels. Zinc is pretty common in AH and copper is unbelievably common at the guild. You'll have no problem with it.

When you get to 11 tho, you're gonna realize that you either have to be rich to continue goldsmithing or you're gonna have to mine the minerals yourself. Goldsmith is a whole lotta money being spent on it and if you don't have base capital you won't advance far.

on alchemy at first i made beezwax and if you get the crystals yourself you can make some profit. and it raised it real fast til 2.

NOTE: i am not past lvl 2 so if anyone has more info i would appreciate it.

Alchemy-SAVE YOUR ITEMS!

Unless it's a final product like "Bee spatha" or "Fire degen", SAVE your items, you will 98% of the time need them later in your career(Beeswax is needed like lvl 1-.....100, figuratively speaking.)
