elvaan is a fine warrior and hah the post about galka being the best of all melee..... sigh...i built up warrior to 30/15 monk then went straight to PLD. Dont worry about dex just learn how to conrol aggro the best you can (as a warrior you take a lot of hits). Monk is a great sub for warrior though Good thinking. And of course if you plan to go to dark you might want some black mage lvling as well.

Discordian definately tackled this one. Don't worry about subjob till the time comes. Between level 1 and 18 I went through 3 Adv. Job changes and 2 subjob changes. I'm changing my subjob to MNK soon so .. yea, read the 1st post he answers your question.
