Seeing as there isn't one, I thought I'd throw together some info I've gleaned whilst playing and from other sources for anyone new to this job.

Macros:

/pet "Fight"
/pet "Stay"
/pet "Heel"
/pet "Sic"
/pet "Leave"
/pet "Snarl"

/ja "Gauge"
/ja "Tame"
/ja "Reward"
/ja "Call Beast"
/ja "Familiar"

If you track a target via the Widescan, you can use this to get your pet to attack it:

/pet "Fight"

, and also work if you want to use them in macros while you have a pet.

1. Vermin -> Plantoids -> Beasts -> Lizards -> Vermin

2. Birds -> Aquans -> Amorpha -> Birds


Vermin = Bees, Crawlers, Beetles, Flies, Scorpions, Spiders

Plantoids = Mandragoras, Saplings, Treants, Cactii, Morbols, Goobbues, Funguars

Beasts = Rabbits, Sheeps, Rams, Dhalmels, Tigers, Opo-opo, Coeurls, Manticores

Lizards = Lizards, Raptors

Birds = Bats, Birds, Cockatrices

Aquans = Pugils, Crabs

Amorpha = Worms, Jellies, Hecteyes, Leeches, Octopi

Interesting... I like it. Can you have an avatar/sprit (off a SUM sub or main) and a pet at the same time?

Thank you for the awesome Bst post. I'm trying to become a Bst myself, but I'm leveling my Whm sub right now. The only question I have is what kind of food, and gear should my Taru Bst/Whm have? I'm thinking about using equipment that boost Vit, Cha, and Str, but I have no clue about food. Would the Meat mithkabobs be appropriate for my character?

Devi, I think they get wide scan and rangers get remote scan. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Ahh bummer. But I still win! I will be a SUM/BST! I will never draw a weapon but I shall always have something to put the hurt on!

both rng & bst get wide scan, i'm not sure if bst have it at level 1 or not tho.

Yeah Bst get it low level.. dunno if its 1 but I'm gonna assume it is cuz I know my lv 5 Bst has it

Yeah BST get widescan. Not as good as rangers, but it increases in size at lvl 20, 40 and 60.
