I wanna here all those WHM's that melee out there! Let your voice be heard!

Let people know we can do more than just sit back and heal you!

Let people know that on those little to no AOE mobs we CAN be an effective part in taking them down!

And to any party member or leader that tells you otherwise, don't back down and show them what you can do!

This is what the Melee WHM Association is all about! I group that lobbies to get rid of the stereotyped WHM image!

Sure you can be a good WHM by curing, healing, MP managing etc. and doing a good job. The Great ones are the ones that can do all this AND contribute to the downfall of a mob!

Help me! Join me! In getting the word out to all jobs, even other WHM's! We can be more then a cure tank! So much more!

Apply now!

that thought is... scary, in any case, if you want to attack, no1 says you can't, plus, WHM have the advantage that everyone will do as they say because if they leave the pt... its party disband

I melee when it is appropriate to do so as a Whm and a Blm. I am know as a battle Taru! Club skill=71, staff=68.

Edit for spelling.

What if I don't want to melee?

I don't think it's bad or wrong I just don't want to. It's more fun for me to sit back and make sure the party buffs and hp stay up. I don't need to melee and I don't want to.

And I've done Whm/Nin before... it's pretty fun.

club capped, staff is almost there

can't keep the bara's up if you're not up close

can't see the monsters special moves that needs to be erased if you're sitting in the rear

may as well be swinging since I have to be standing up there anyhow (imo)

Ok, I have no problem with melee whm's... except when i'm in a pt with them, but i have a good reason, i'm a brd. plz plz plz do not melee if you're in a pt with a brd cause it hurts the whole pt. me being able to keep ballad and ballad II on you is soooo much more important than your hits for < 10 damage. I mean if you want to lvl your club skill and all, thats cool just as long as it doesn't hurt the pt. I've had melee whm's really hurt pt's because they don't have enough mp to exp chan with after the fight, let's say your avg fight lasts for 2min. with ballad and ballad II on you gain 3mp/3secs, or 1mp per second. that means if i could have kept ballad on you you would have 120 more mp at the end of the first fight; after exp chain #1 you'd get 120 more, which means a total of 240mp the melee whm didn't have; and so on until the chain is dead. plz melee but remember you're there to make exp for yourself and a pt, don't do anything that hurts that.

/hands in his application too.

I love to melee only when the occassion calls for it and we're just waiting for someone to arrive and we pull an easier monster just to pass the time. I'll step in and melee as well. But I also do my duties as a whm keeping up protection, barriers, cures and what not during the battle. I just find it fun to melee once in awhile with those in my LS when we do weapon skillups or do that are just bored while waiting for that last member to show up.

But fear the whm with hexastrike and dual wielding mauls ^^ (coming to a server near you). Hehehehe

I'm not only a member, I'm the archdioces.

Club skill capped. Outdamaging PLDs, and I have yet to upgrade my current skullcruncher.

We had hammers since FF1, and we're no stranger to skull fracture implementation.

Bring the riot.

210 club at 64 (max), staff is catching up.

/hands in his Application.

I noticed my 300% TP Judgement do 619 on a too weak mob (lvl 30's). Talk about motivation!

I have to agree with the bard, where it's tough on the bard with his melee and mage support needing to be separate. That's why I like red mages! hee hee

I join! I join! When I play my WHM sub, people balk just at the fact I take my weapon out, even if I don't melee unless a mob happens to try to attack me.

Mages CAN melee!!!
