wow... this is perfect. about the 10+ hours you put into it, i'll make that up to you by using your guid e to cut down time in crafting, ^^. Thanks alot for all of your hardwork, after seeing this I have finally figured out a way to fund my jobs=D Good luck with the rest of the guide... hmm maybe I should take up more crafts than 1 now...???

Ok well i'll be sure to put that there ,but it's really very simple. Out of all the guides i put up here everyone of them used advanced sythesis EVERY TIME they crafted. While this will slow skill gain a little when your near the skill cap of an item ,you will save money by getting less failures ,and isn't getting money the reason we start crafts?
O thank you bone im sure it will pay of and i say get a second craft that you can make even more money by crafting things that need two high lv skills to make. I also suggest getting two crafts that compliment each other (like smithing and tanning).

Woodworking is cheap if you log for the materials.
Here's a quickie of what I did.
Pick up a hatchet and start logging. I made all my hatchets (via smithing for level and this purpose). Bring 4-5 stacks of wind crystals.
0-5: You don't really need to synth anything in low levels. Just use the wind crystals on the log that you have obtained (Arrowwood, Maple, and Ash) sell the rest for a profit (Willow, Holly, and Elm)
5-8 (Ash Club): Continue step one. Keep turning logs to lumber. Wind + Ash lumber = ash club. If you have money for thunder crystals, then desynth it and rince and repeat until lvl 8.
8-15 (Bronze Bolt or Maple Table (12-15) ): Now to put the bronze bolt heads you made from smithing to good use. Craft them and actually use them with either WAR/DRK/RNG and fire away. I can easily go thru 4 stacks of bolts in 2 hours.
Earth crystal + 4 maple lumber = maple table. These babies are a godsend for gardeners. However, there are better tables that garderners can use, so don't go too crazy making them.
15-21 (Maple Sugar): Thunder + Maple Log = 3 maple sugar. It's a popular choice and it's easy to skill up.
I often try to find a mutual craft to get my ingredients. Like the bolts head we made from smithing can be used here.
Good luck you crazy crafters ^___^

Don't judge too harshly. I'll update it as my skill increases
Bonecraft
0-4 (Bone hairpin): You can easily farm bone chips off the skeletons in Gusgen Mines. I can easily walk out of the mines with 3 stacks (I mine there also, so I have time to kill a few skelly for the drop) Sell them to the NPC for 100 gils +. Wind + Bone chip
4-9/10 (Bone arrowheads or bone arrows): Bone arrowheads is the way to go. Wind + 2 Bone chip = 6 Bone arrowhd. I personally craft arrows because I can't get any skill up with woodworking making bone arrows. It's more expensive, but I don't mind at all. Wind + 1 arrowwood lumber + 2 Yagudo feather + 3 bone chips. (Feathers are cheap. I bought 2 stacks for less than 500 gils)
9/10-11 (Bone earrings): This is only for those with money. Make these, +1 atk is often nice for melee. Don't expect to make money from this. I would do it just for kicks ^__^
9/10-12 (Cornette): Wind + Brass ingot + Bone chip. Synth and desynth for quick skill up. When you desynth, you'll get a brass ingot back losing a bone chip per craft. THANK GOD.
12 (Fang Necklace (to 15) or Bone Ring (to 17)): Depending on which sells better. Craft either one of them. Bone ring does seem cheaper to craft. Wind + Sheep Tooth + Bone chip.
17-25 (Beetle Ring): This seems to be the cheapest recipe out of all of them. Go to Windurst and get advance synthesis and craft them. Wind + Beetle Jaw.
25-29 (horn Hairpin): Wind + Ram Horn. Desynth it to get your horn back. Rince and repeat for fast level.
29-33 (Beetle Arrowhead): Wind + Beetle jaw + bone chip. Level woodworking with these babies and level your ranger with these arrows. ^__^
33-38 (Fang Arrowhead) Wind + Blk. Tiger Fang + bone chip. Level woodworking and rangers ^__^
I am by no mean an expert on any crafts. I try to find the cheapest recipe and looking to skill up relatively cheap. These are only suggestions.

Do any of you want bonecrafting and fishing? I don't no any one who does bone and there are already so many for fishing so i was wondering if it's really worth another 3 hours of typing if no1s gonna use it.

Hi all, I decided it's time to register
I'm from Carbuncle, do some Alchemy (level 59), and yeah there's something I'd like to add to the thread. I see a lot of people quoting the same recipes and there are a couple of things which can be done better. Always buy from vendors when possible (Rank 5 really helps here) and don't underestimate selling vendors.
lv0-6 Tsurara (ice crystal + rock salt + distilled waterX2)
Cheap and good, I'd say start here. Antidotes can also work, depending on the AH.
OR lv0-5 Beeswax (fire crystal + bee hive chipX3 + distilled water)
If you farm for ingredients this can be ok, but you'd probably lose less by selling the bee chips and make Tsurara. Fire crystals are expensive
Do it though if you have the money to keep the wax around for later.
lv6-9 Deoderizer (wind crystal + olive oil + chamomile + sage)
This looks good. An alternative is poison dust, using Yellow Globes.
lv9-16 Mercury (lightning crystal + colbat jellyfishX4)
I did this one, but the jellies run out fast. Try buying them ahead of time so you have a lot to start with. Instead of selling, you can use them to make poison potions (if you made poison dust) which can sometimes sell OK in Jeuno.
lv14-20 Echo Drops (water crystal + sage + honey + distilled water)
I did this, works well.
lv20-25 Glass Fiber Rod (light crystal + bkn. glass fiber)
You'll make your money back, but the rods sometimes take a while to move. You can sell them directly to the fishing guild (for around 2100 I think) if you don't want to wait. An alternative here is Silent Oils (the recipe that yields 4) , you'll lose a bit of gil but it's not so painful if you saved beeswax from earlier.
lv25-29 Silent Oil (water crystal + olive oil + beeswaxX2)
I've seen this one around a bit, and I followed it a level or two before realising it's not good. Try making Eye Drops and selling them direct to the guild shop. You can only sell them a certain number per day, and after that you'll have to sell to normal vendors. Still, you won't lose much money at all here.
lv29-31 Minnow (fire crystal + copper ignot + glass fiber)
This might skill up you Goldsmithing too if it's low. I just skipped it and went to Artifical Lenses, which I used on Prism Powders later.
lv30-34 Potion (water crystal + sage + distilled water + lizard tail)
It's good, tails are cheap. I had about 12 stacks or more from unsuccessfully camping Lizzie a few times. Pity they suck, so they don't sell well on the AH. I just offloaded them to vendors. Somehow I made a potion+1 while skilling up and drank it for fun. I did it much longer than 34 though, maybe 38 or so.
34-43 Vitriol (water crystal + treant bulbX2)
Before this, I used my Lenses to make Prism Powder (they sell fast). Anyway, this is the cheapest recipe since Tsurara. People sometimes have the bulbs in bazaar or Windurst AH for as low as 10 gil. I just sold this stuff to vendors.
lv43-51 Holy Water (light crystal + distilled water)
If your Light Clusters sell for 7k like on Carbuncle, prepare to hurt. I think most lower players can't really farm light crystals, so you'll lose a bit. I sold a lot to vendors since they sell kind of slow. Try making Carbon Fibre from Bomb Ash until 45, you might even make a small profit, and you'll fail less on the waters. Ethers are also an option if they sell well.
lv51-56 Cerment (fire crystal + magic pot shardsX4)
They used to make a profit, but for some reason the price on Cermet Chunks dropped when I got here. Either way, failure hurts and it might be better to do Sleeping Potions as I did.
After this, depending on the market Porcelain Flowerpots can be good. If not, make Glass Fibre. Skillups are pretty slow after 50, so I've taken a break for a bit.
lv0-6 Tsurara (ice crystal + rock salt + distilled waterX2)
Cheap and good, I'd say start here. Antidotes can also work, depending on the AH.

You should put this somewhere as well.
"If skill cap of the item you're making is 5 to 10 levels away from your current skill level, use Advanced Image Support when synthing. However, if it's under 5 skill levels away before the item caps, you can use the free Image Support or no Image Support at all."
You can just copy and paste that on to save trouble if you want. Just make sure you remove the "". Also I usually use no support if it's under 5 levels so I might be able to get skill from my failures as well. You will NOT get skill from failing the synth if you're 5+ levels away from cap.
Edit: I've been leveling my bonecrafting up and have a fairly cheap skillpath planned out. If you want, I can post a thread for that as well.
