It's actually quite simple.

This entire GAME is based around how you interact with people and how you work with others. The key: finding people who you can actually trust and have some sort of bond with - then accomplish feats which yield things such as Dragon Talons & Venomous Claws for FREE. People think too much on a selfish level to try and get everything they want in one swoop. I have played this game for a long ass time and I haven't gotten everything I wanted - yet I still enjoy the game!

There are many linkshells who mutually use each other to gain what they want for themselves. Crafters merely exploit these type of people.

Impatience will get you no where in this game. I've found that out myself the hard way ~.~

**On a side note, what in the........ happened to the AH?! I was taking a glance at it the other day.. that is definitely disconcerting.. lol. Especially all the noob equip, it's sooo exepsnive... I could only imagine the high leveled items.. orz..

You're the one that brought Fortune into this discussion and you did so after I had already posted... I fail to see how you could have interpreted my post as having anything at all to do with any person/linkshell in specific.

I said X item was selling for Y price and, as a result, Z item crafted therefrom cost what it costs. That's it. If you read anything further into it then it came from your own preconceptions and/or bias, it certainly wasn't present in my post.

And actually, if you check the sales history for Dragon Talons (which I think still reads back to last month) there's maybe 1 Fortune name left on the seller list... so, you know, going back to the whole preconception and bias bit.

Don't read too much into everything, and when you do, try to leave your own opinions out of it, because not everyone shares them and you'll eventually end up posting something totally inaccurate as a result.

As for price gouging though, yeah, we do it as a LS. I also do it personally on ENM drops when I can, we used to do it in AE, and everyone I know, for the most part, does it when the market will bear it. When you're splitting gil for something you obviously want to get as much as possible so your own cut will be as high as possible... and really, unless Fortune is some sort of massive conspiring shadow government controlling the purchase and sale of every single item on our server, the general trend of prices inflating on everything tends to agree with my interpretation of the reality of the market.


Funny, when I checked talons a couple weeks ago, I saw Ser's name a few times on the list. I believe a couple of other people from Fortune as well although I'm not totally sure on that.

It's not preconception and bias, it's fact. Fortune has been the main reason why weskits are so high. You were being sarcastic, as always, and said blame the greedy crafters, not "the people" selling the talon. So since that was sarcasm, I take it you want people to blame Fortune since they are "the people" that raised the price?

I never got shit from that ls. Only a few kind players helped me when I needed, yet all the stuck up punks ignored me, even though I helped them frequently.

Many of the new LS members are getting items. You just came in when we were camping HNM more then doing sky runs.

But I heard that once you got your Noble armor, you were going to quit the LS and join another.

I heard this from someone that wasn't in pxtzle.

Oh yea, and you too syl...forgot....I got banned from the forums on the pxtzle website.
I was trying to look for familiar names to remember the people I liked.

I understand the whole hnm thing, I was fine with that. In fact, I liked my blessed gear and think I would have stuck with it, even once I got my nobles. I just had a huge problem with being ignored and not trusted. The rumor that once I got my nobles I was just gonna join another ls was completely untrue and caused a lot of people not to trust me, which was frustrating.
