how do u get robes besides killin moogles?

OMG I must be extremely lucky this time for an event. Both times I was given a card I just traded it to the moogle and got a Dream Robe. After getting my Dream Robe in Sandy I went to Windy becuase I figured it was like most other holiday quests and the first card I recieved there I traded to the moogle and got the Dream Robe +1. I must have gotten a teir III card both times, YAY!

I think this is a little karma coming back my way for how much SE screwed me on Halloween a year ago. I kept on trading fruit to the vendors for items and it would not give me one of the items no matter how long or how much I spent buying fruit. ( Every once in a while it would tell me that I could not recieve the item the vendor was trying to give me becuase I did not meet the requirements. So since my inventory was near empty I figured the game had glitched and was trying to give me a :rare / :ex item I already had. Needless to say I had never been so frustrated and gave up on it that year after spending too much gil. Then this Halloween I again was trying to get the item and it wouldn't give it to me until bam, it showed up. SE owned me one for two pretty crappy Halloweens and they paid up... there is some system behind it lol. It Could it be that a lot off ppl just keep a lot of cards or throw them away they can't find someone who needs it ? but hey that means less annyoing shots

Those are for the valentine's event , along with the heart shaped chocolates that are broken and need to be fit together with their opposite.~ At least that seems like the most logical reasoning.

Attention this is how it really works...

On the 4th time it DOES become a robe card, meaning that the next person to trade it in WILL get a robe but guess what? The part about it being one of your jobs/lvl after the 3rd trade is FALSE. IT DOES NOT. When this happens to people it is LUCK. I have tried it 3 times now all the way through. All times after the 3rd trade it did not become one of the jobs/lvl combo that I had. So I had to give them away and all 3 times the person I gave it to got a robe. So there you go, all completely luck, there is no way to plan for yourself to get one. I have now traded enough cards to have a total of 200 Brilliant Snows, so not one of the cards I have traded has been on its 4th pass. Thanks to my amazingly bad luck I will probably not even get a NQ item from this event. Way to go SE!

1. moogle gave me a card for a job i had at that level: obtained Brillant Snow
2. got another card from a shout: obtained Dream Robe
3. got another card from someone shouting for someone with a robe: obtained Dream Robe +1

DR+1 pwns for leveling 1-10... i can sell my vagabond's tunic now

Sigh... at least you guys are getting cards. I've lost count of how many I've given out and only one person has given me one so far. At least I got a robe out of it, just not the +1. I have been doing the Smilebringer event between cards, that's fun. I've made 5 kids in San d'Oria happy so far, just 5 or so left to go.

Append: I'm currently running around as the white mage described under my picture.
