I was looking at some bazaars earlier on and I noticed 'Gateau aux Fraises' and the description was about a cake from the Starlight Festival. Does anyone know if it's made with a certain cooking skill or whether it can actually be bought off a NPC? The moogles don't sell it...:con:con

That wand is most likely for the valentines event. Last year crystals were sent out by the MHMU (HQ crystals that allow you to sign crafted items) and you could give your "sweethart" a special gift signed by you. Looks like there's going to be a new event in which these wands will be incorperated *points to the chocolates in the .dats*

Well the list on ffxi.somepage.com shows it as Enhanced Selbina Milk Effect. So this body armor is going to kick some major butt leveling the first few levels. LoL

My fellow Event-Whore friend (Nyamavu) will be camping the moogles, we're going to start the event as soon as the moogles "pop". :x I'll be sure to post info in Dyire's guide as soon as I know it

I have to say, when the update was done and saw the moogle is port and saw him selling the trees and a normal dream hat, I was starting to get a little upset about events. Cuz I know I took alot of time to get my trees (not half the time to get the hat), and a year later I can buy them. (But it was fun to me to do all that stuff for the items.) I was talking to my friend of the phone about and was upset, he was happy cuz he only had the Sandy tree.

Neither one of us were really thinking about the event this year. I told him I was going to check it out and he said he was going to pass. I missed Halloween and told him I was upset about not getting this pitchfork and he told me to go get 45 and just buy a pitchfork (seeing how im a drg). I saw the picture while I was still on the phone with him of the coat for this year and told him about it. He asked if it was gay looking or if it looked good and I told him it looked good. He got all excited and so we are planning on going out together and doing this on friday.

As for the wands, would like to see if there is something nice about them, they do look very Sailor Moon-ish. But im a girl, I like that kinda things. So cant wait for friday!

And just want to say... Aladwar... love the sig, its very different and kinda puts you in the mood of the season! Good job!

I think the wands were just tossed in now, I have the feeling they'll have nothing to do with this event, but they'll be attainable during Valintine's

Yes. You can bet they'll be added for the Valentine's event. They have an enchantment of casting ReRaise on a targeted party member (but not yourself).

Yeah, I thought also that they looked more like a Valentine's day type thing. But I read somewhere, cant rememeber where, that it was called a the same thing as the coat. (I wanna say its dream wand, like the hat, but I cant remember.) So that is the only thing that makes me wonder if it is part of this thing. Ohh well, guess we will find out in a few hours.

Wow, looks good! I never knew of that site, will have to bookmark that. Also saw love chocolate on there, so that would make me belive that maybe the wand is for valentines day. But what is will all the homemade stuff? And soy milk?? Are we eatting healther now in the game??? lol

Yeah, a few other things as well like those potions. It's fairly obvious they put the Valentine's Day event items in during this patch as well. I'm glad they're actually doing something this year instead of that lame crystal thing
