Someone gave me a card for my THF, traded it to the moogle, and got the robe. But my friend can't get the robe, she traded lots of cards and get some fireworks only. This is WORST event SE ever made.

I agree. I tried too follow this guide and asked if I could have the card back once the guy I traded it too gave it too the moogle. I always got refused so I just stuck too getting a new card from the moogle every chance I got. I used some of my mules also and noticed that they always got the Pleiades card over and over cause I would drop the card if it did not benefit my main character. I have an extra account also so I traded too that if I found a card I needed. On my main character, I noticed I always got stuck with another card I forget the name of that, I could not find anyone too trade too. I would drop it and try getting a fresh card and I always got the same card but differnt level and job recommendations. I think I was getting like a level 2 or 3 card back from the moogle everytime where my mules were getting a level 1 card back.

Finally I saw a shout from someone seeking a level 70 + White Mage. He held a card I have not came across yet and asked me after I traded it too the moogle, if I could give it back too him presumeing that he'll get the card back asking for the job and level he had for his NQ Santa Cloak. I agreed and went and traded it too the moogle and I was the one that got the Santa Cloak. Did not get the card back and I felt bad for the guy.

At least you got the card you needed to get the +1 robe. It's now the last two days of the event and I still haven't gotten it... I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong.

I never got the High Quality version of the cloak, I gave up after I got the normal one. Good luck on your search.

Yeah, see, if I don't get the high quality I'l just toss the one I have. I already have a Def 2 event armor that I think looks better. But the H high quality robe's special trait makes getting it worth it... that and it has an extra point of Def.
