(1)Talk to the moogle get a card.
(2)Trade the card to the job and lvl it ask's for, have that person trade it to the moogle, then have them trade it back to you.(1st trade)
(3)Talk to the moogle to see what next job is.
(4)Trade it to a person with then next job, have them trade to moogle, then trade it back to you.(2nd trade)
(5)Talk to moogle again for next job requirment.
(6)Trade it to person with that job, have them trade to moogle, and then trade it back to you.(3rd trade)
(7)Now when you talk to the moogle for the last time he will tell you that you need to give the card to someone that has a job in a level range that is equal to one of the job's that you have.
(8)Swich to that job, trade the card to the moogle.(4th trade)

hehe hting is most people trade hte card then start shouting with that new job, so you never know if the card you have is on it's 2nd or 4th run. myself i grabed one for a level 10 mnk, traded it for a level 30 smn, he needed a 10 sam, (which i had) so i got it back, then it said 20 thf (whic i had) so i traded it and bam got dream robe +1 (carbuncle server). took me bout an hour/half, including travel time from jeuno -> bastok and bastok -> sandy

Edit: Got HQ hat same way as last year with the Max fame from kiddie presents then putting a tree in your house. After talk to you moogle and he'll give you a present. ^^ Only difference from last year is you cant buy presents, you get one once a day but you can trade fireworks for fame instead. I traded two presents and about 15 or so fireworks to get max fame. I might of had max fame with just one present and the fireworks.

After getting robe, i got another letter but the moogle said to give to people in red...so I assume +1 is doing that labor intensive proccess again and narrowing your search to only people with dream robes.

I had to get off the game before the event. but I was watching my brother, and he didnt get the Robe till he turned in one of each of the cards to the moogle... I dont think its as randome as you think, just takes so freakin long to get the cards you need.

15 jobs X 7 lvl ranges=105 diffrent types of cards... now if SE did something more along the lines of "find a " or "find someone "... then maybe it wouldnt be so horible... and this comeing from someone who usally likes events... :O_o

It's not random.

-i'm guessing why people think it's random, is because they're getting that same card type moogle gives them and it has 3 trades on it.




moogle will give you the same card each time if you haven't noticed. Keep your own card.


trade your card to the job said to one person. have them trade to moogle. have them trade back to you. (so happy i didn't get screwed over doing this on the +1)

repeat this so three different jobs have traded to moogle.

the 4th one should be a job you have. trade that yourself to moogle.

NQ.


Repeat same process as NQ except those people have to have the NQ dream robe on.

4th job on card should be your own. turn it in in your NQ robe and HQ

Confirmed works perfect, got Dream Robe like this.. the card the 3rd person gets back is for your job/lvl.. Now for the +1 just do this again? Should it be different city?

i got my card in N sanD. i got NQ robe with that card in bastok markets. i got HQ card and +1 in south sanD.

i don't see how area effects it. i think it just has to do with wearing robes for the HQ robe.

I just got a Dream Robe+1!!

All i did was get a card from moogle, find people matching the cards.. and give out my cards... Then watch shouts and find a card that fit my job levels... and trade that card in.
I got the regular Dream Coat the second time doing this.

Then from there I just wore the DreamCoat, and did the exact same thing... ONLY i gave the cards now only to people with Regular Dreamcoats on. And the card i recieved was also from a guy who had a dreamcoat on, looking for my job and level with a dreamcoat.

I did it both times in Windy Woods. SO it can be done in the same town, to get Regular and +1.

If theres anything more specific than that, i dunno how it works. I hope this helps.. Goodluck Everyone >_<

The way u did it was thru luck..

The cards seem to be coded in a way like this..

Moogle gives you card.

The card will ask for xxx job at # lv range.
Each time the card is traded back to moogle, the xxx/# will change.
But the 4th xxx/# that it will gives will be from one of the jobs/lv combinations of the ORIGINAL person who got the card from moogle.

That said, for those who got it on the first try, it means it so happens the card u first got, traded to you from someone else was in its 4th combination.

If you already have a NQ Dream Robe and come across the 4th combi of the card that fits one of your job/lv combis too, you will instead get chocopasses, and Moogle will take the card from you.

For HQ version it works by the same way. Except that for Moogle to give you HQ Dream Robe on the 4th combi, all the people who traded the card to it have to have NQ Dream Robe too (and probably wearing it)
If the condition isnt met, then the reward will simply revert to NQ Dream Robe, and the one who submits 4th combi will end up getting Chocopasses again.

Hence the most surefire way of getting ur robe (for NQ this isnt really required)

1) Get your card from Moogle. (Remember what your card is)
2) Find someone with the job/lv combination required by the card
3) Trade card to that someone, get him to trade the card to moogle and subsequently return the card to you.
4) Repeat steps 2-3 another 2 more times.
5) The 4th combination required will be of a job/lv combi that you have
6) Switch to that job and trade to moogle for your Dream Robe.

For HQ version, you have to wear your NQ Dream Robe when you talk to Moogle (probably so), then make sure everyone you trade your card with is also wearing the NQ Dream Robe.

Just got my Dream Robe, after turning 9 cards in (or better: 3 hours of shouting). To my understanding, it is completely random, as some people I talked to had gotten their robe after only 1 or 2 cards whereas other people claimed to have used 12 cards or more.
This is by far the dumbest event to date in my opinion. It's just shouting next to the moogles for hours and hours on end whilst having all your cards stolen by others. Not really my idea of fun...
I'd like to see more event quests in the style of the Summer 2004 one, that one was actually exciting.
