Maybe I am missing something here, its late and I need sleep but...
Although technically still in KRT, isn't Vrtra in a different zone than Spook camp? I am in no way claiming these pics are fake (cause obviously they aren't), I am just wondering how a program could port you from one zone to another (although still the same "zone"). Does this mean the hacker (if there is one) could warp any mob anywhere? Like actually warp Vrtra to a town like people are joking about?
I am trying to come up with a analogy using another area with multiple zones... oh... the area under the Chataeu, could someone warp Sewer Syrup up to the drain quest/spiral hell quest npc too?
Just find this interesting, wanna know how people can do this and what the limitations are.

Not only would the mob have to be 'transported,' but the data containing where he spawns would have to be changed as well, so that even if he popped in the wrong spot, he'd still return to the right one after all aggro was released, but that's clearly not the case.
KRT is a layered area, SE may have selected a position for him to return to, and it's entirely possible for some odd reason he popped a layer up, though I have not checked if he is actually a layer down in reality.
I'm going to guess for him to have been there, he would have spawned there, having been killed already and that's why they had to do maintenance to edit the info. Vrtra is not killed on a regular basis and perhaps that's the reason he's the only one on all servers that popped there. Glitches are rare but they happen. I'm not about to say someone is hacking and changing monster info, because we would have seen them bragging about it already for a larger e-peen, but I will say that when they update things they tend to screw up entirely-unrelated things, which is very odd. I remember this from all past updates where things would get messed up and they would have to fix it soon after the update.

It is easy to warp mobs with a POS program. I've seen and experienced it many times with other HNMs. My guess is that someone warped this mob up to Spook, and since it's one level up with no stairs to the layer below, there was no way back to his spawn point.

It's not the first time I've heard of this happening to Vrtra, I don't have proof it happened before though.
About a year ago year and a half, I remember hearing Vrtra got trained to the upper layer of KRT, so I'm not really shocked to see it

Ive had something similar happen to me in Lower Jueno, a choco was standing by himself near an entrance to one of the airship ports, I could target and /emote to it. But only I could see it and no-one believed me it was there ; ; Ill upload a pic when I get home

That happens on unicorn except instead of a choco its a moogle in lower jeuno, the funny thing is you can actually access your MH through it. Personally ive never seen it but i know people who have and lots of time youll hear shouts saying "Why is there a moogle in the middle of Lower Jeuno?"

That's happened to me twice, but in Upper Jeuno.

It is still considered the same zone, and no differently at that. To the current server patch, once a NPC/PC/Mob has been removed from its previous coordinates on a mapped plane. The server flags the previous spot after 4-5 seconds and move the mob back to its old position directly. Or so it used to work that way pre Dec. 7th.
Secondly, there is a way to stalemate the server to where a mob will stay "put". Thus it re-defines its old path but within the new coordinates. Just as if he was right at home. Roll back early 03 and there was a "trick" to port NPC/Game affiliated propaganda to off limit areas such as Jeuno, etc with PC characters. Supposively patched, it no longer works. So no, there is no way to port NPC's via this olde of a mother glitch.
But you can sure move anything anywhere

Propaganda is information disseminated by the followers or opponents of an ideal in an attempt to alter the opinions of others. So I'm going to assume it's the wrong word for this sentence. What glitch are you referring to here?
