The festival was pretty fun. It would have been really nice had it not been so damn cold. Anyway, it was nice to meet some fellow Titan-ites and get to see the general player base in person. Here are some pics:

The festivial tent.



Inside the cavernous tent. The stage is to the left off camera. Here people were watching other people play the ToAU expansion projected on two large screens.



The ToAU testing area. Every 20 minutes or so a group would fill up the station area and play whatever character was already logged in. Sadly, only the basic jobs were available. It was a good time, nonetheless.

The Mithra photo area. As I said before, it was very cold and the tent offered very little protection. I felt bad for the girls.



The Developer's Panel. Here the creators of Vanadiel grace us with their presence and show us the light of the future. If only real life were this simple.

Forsaken, I regret not running into you again before leaving the festival. I was hoping to get a picture of you and Chango. You guys really helped make the hour long wait for registration seem to fly by.

There's a bunch of cool people on our server, I'm glad to have finally met some of you. It was a pleasure. Feel free to /wave or say "hi" anytime.

Oks here are some Fanfest pictures! I have some more on my phone including some videos of the Star Onions concert, so I will try to get those uploaded soon. ^^; I guess I will write a little bit about the experience.

The first day we all met up at LAX, Arc's flight was late Taru, so we had to wait for him. Then we went back to Vlaid's uncle's house, ate absolutely TERRIBLE food at this one restaurant, and eventually met up with Muze. We checked into the hotel, heard the line at the festival was like 3 hours long, so we decided to just go to dinner. Muze took us out for real ramen. It was so good; I had the best eel of my life there. Anyways, afterwards we looked at some of the shops and got boba tea then went back to the hotel where we all basically sat around playing Final Fantasy and talking. >_> I didn't take any pictures Thursday, but I managed to sneak in one right before we went to sleep.

The next morning I was woken up to Muze beating me with a pillow, and Aodh eventually picked me up and threw me on the other bed. >_> I guess that is an original wake up call. :x Anyways, we headed to the festival, met up with a lot of Titan people, formed Team Muze, ate food there, were absolutely freezing, won the Heroes BC twice (I am pretty sure we were the only people to do this), did some of the NPC quests, went to the panels (the first revealed their timeline for expansion content releases in the next year; the second discussed the jobs; you can read Ichthyos's great posts on the BG forums though ^^), etc etc. I wish we had waited in the merchandise line this day since by Saturday almost everything cool had sold out. >_< Anyways, here are some pictures from Friday.

I wanted to get a picture of Puppetmaster but I wasn't fast enough with my camera for it (was too excited xD). You can find the trailer they played online though. During the Q&A they were pretty receptive so I guess we will see what they do with the jobs in the coming future. ^^

After dinner we went to an arcade and played some Para Para Paradise and DDR. We also got tea and went to a shop full of cute things. It was absolutely freezing outside and actually rained on and off, but we still managed to have fun.

Saturday we ended up driving halfway across LA it seemed to get to a McDonald's but we ended up eating at Fat Burger instead. Then headed to the festival for a last look around, bought some stuff, turned in our quest progress, watched the Costume Contest and the Tarutaru Marathon, and talked to some more people. Afterwards we headed back to the hotel and went in the hot tub.

We were gonna go to the Cheesecake Factory but the wait was horrendous, so even though we missed Ballista Royale, we made it back in time to see most of the Star Onions concert which was AWESOME. Hopefully I can get my pics up of that later. Then we went back to the hotel, hung out, ate pizza and got drunk. All in all, it was an amazing weekend, I am so glad I got to meet everyone, and I had a great time. ^^ Hopefully they will do another event like this in the future and we can all hang out again. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures!
