You are probly thinking of goblin archeologist. You spawn them by trading any item to the ??? to get him closer to the ground, you can only feed him once a vanadiel day and his lvl ranges from 30-60...

Yeah, he gives some good drops. After an exp party we did a teleport-Dem (same NM just in konschatt rather than la theine). we got him to pop, only he ended up being the lvl 60 version rather than the lvl 30 one. bastard killed a full PT of lvl 55s, two 45s and a 60. sucker as mean, and threw 2 BTs for about 300pts each. not that he had to, b/c he hit me for about 100pts each hit. yeah, we got raped. /cry

So any idea what items work best for trading, how many times you need to trade, and what he drops?

Also, how do you know what level he spawns as? Just by how tough he is?

u need to trade 12 items me and a part of 27's got a tele-dem i dunno y and i traded a ice crystal to it he popped we killed i died as usual
