Perdu Wand would be the best 1-hit weapon offhand due to the lower delay + attack/accuracy, yeah. Though a Prudence Rod is still probably better for TP gain but it does depend on the mob. Nothing competes with KC, though. I keep trying the BC when I have the seals, but as one'd expect, no luck whatsoever, and I'm not buying one... I have better things to spend gil on.

Well. With the 80 Cap approaching and my gear upgrades reaching a stalemate; I guess now is a good time to post some of my sets.

Cure V Gear:

Heavily focused on -Enmity. The massive Cure potency has made me use Cure III-IV much more often than Cure V, which is now a waste of MP most of the time. This set has an option of adding a Staff Strap and a Theta sash for more heavy HNMing.

This set has suffered a bit from Inventory issues. I no longer carry my Healer's Cap +1, my holy Ampulla, my MND+1 Earring; and only occasionally carry around my Kirin's Pole for more MND (No Shield for me). In its glory days I could get 167 total MND with food and pole, with still room for improvement.

Enfeebling Skill (Silence/Sleep).

Not much room for improvement here. Altruistic cape and an Enfeebling earring are the only two upgrades I'd consider, but the set is already vastly overkill for anything that doesn't need ES. I don't think I could carry the Enfeebling Earring around either (Cassandra/Helenus not even worth considering).

Dark Magic (Aspir and Drain).

Body Has M.Accu and MAB (For my SCH). This set still has a bunch of obvious upgrades to do. First one would be Nash Mantle (Long story why I don't have one) which could allow me to leave the Redingote home. Second would be Dark/Helenus Earrings. There are some minor M.Accu pieces that I could carry around, but don't feel like they justify their space (Sturm Report, Goliard Hands, Witch Sash for non-dark weather, Dark Grip).

My modest Repose set:

Still needs Marduk Head (No money ._.) and Altruistic Cape. However, I'm not sure if I actually want to swap in Marduk head for this one; as I really like the Haste on recasts (Why it has Goliard Body and Blessed Feet). Repose is extremely accurate to begin with; and I think I have been resisted only once on a neutral mob since the day it was added. And I guess the 10% Interrupt doesn't hurt either....

General Purpose Haste Gear:

I use this to cast haste (11 Seconds recast with it and Light Arts), Raises, and -NA's. I've considering adding the cheap Haste+3 belt to cap it, if I can ever make more Inventory Room.

Max MP:

My Iddle:

This set has also suffered a bit. It used to carry a Flawless Ribbon; but after losing my Goliard Trews for Dragon Pants, and with Esuna needing the status to actually land on me, I decided to opt for more MP. 914MP was lower than my Comfort zone for an iddle set (And had more than 300MP Difference than my MaxMP).
The most important upgrade I could do is to get some HeraldsGaters, then respec my Dragon Pants for Cure Pot/Enmity, and iddle in Heralds/Goliard. Also, I could get a Colossus Earring, and HQ my Cape.
I have a command that adds more PDT (Jelly, Goliard); and one that adds more MDT (Kebbie, Coral Rings) if I have them on me.

Finally, my resting set:

Not much to see here. I think this one has reached a nice status-quo, where I am unwilling to add more minuscule hMP upgrades because I don't have the inventory for it (I can barely justify lugging the Invigorating/Ariesan already). The only two things I might consider are the Augmented hMP+2 cape (yet to see it), and a Star Ring. Also, I could probably get a Gnole torque and leave my Ajari/Beak home, but this would hurt two sets to benefit one. The Inventory space is very very tempting, tho.

I still have more sets. Like my makeshift Devo/Subli set, my WHM Nuking set (It's actually pretty nice, Novio an all <.<), Stoneskin, a Healing Magic set for Doom (Just in case it actually does something), and tons of random melee setups.

I've been very careful on my choices: but if anyone has any suggestion, or finds any flaw on my reasoning that could improve my sets, please say so.

Given I realize you're focusing on enmity-, if you're comfortable with hate you could wear Mamool Ja Earring (since you own one) instead of Novia. Cure V rarely ever gets me hate and my gear isn't enmity- focused on Cure V. Another option for MND would be Reign Grip, 1 more than Raptor Strap +1, but it isn't something I'd write home about.

Yet again, looking solid. Outside of maybe Augmenting Earring, you've got a perfect barspell build. Btw, those legs are a lie, Cleric's Pantaloons -1 don't exist. :P (I'm jealous.)

Looks good. My inventory space is too harsh for one of these, so I haven't really used Drain/Aspir that much.

I don't think I've had Repose resist once. I gear for haste as well sometimes. I'd suggest Swift Belt, if you own one.

Honestly, I'd just go for Swift Belt and then attempt to use extra Conserve MP gear if you have any. Either way works though.

I used to have a Healing Staff, I got rid of it when I realized its overall usefulness. Very rarely do I get to rest to full MP, and even when I do, the MP I have is sufficient enough most of the time.

I'd aim to get gaiters in the long run, yes. Other than that, looks good aside from upgrades mentioned already.

Resting set's the same set I use, no suggestions other than what you've mentioned. Star Rings are inventory stressing when they only offer hMP+1 each, I've been wanting to get a pair, but inventory space is always the biggest issue.

Yeah, my first instinct when I got my Mamool Earring was to put it on my Cure V Gear. I soon discovered it gives you Lizard Affinity; which makes anyone with Beast Affinity or Lizard Killer Intimidate you. So that went out >.>

Augmenting Earring. Yeah I had forgotten about that one. I perused it for about 3 months after I discovered it would oomph my barspells to 128. I could never catch one on the AH tho, and the one time I saw it it was jacked more than 200k from the last sell. Same thing happened with my Dark Earring >.<

I don't have swift D: Also, Pythia Sash is a good option, but the odds of getting one doesn't look good =x


On a different subject; I just found out that the mythical 1000HP Cure V is reachable right now without Day/Weather or Med ring. Basically, all I need is to +1 my torque, use Healer Mitts +1, and eat a Goblin Mushpot for 1001HP healed :3

Ah, I didn't realize Mamool Ja Earring did that.

I've been using a Cmn. Earring for Cure V beside my Roundel, ideally looking for a Celestial Earring, but that's such a minor priority in the long scheme of things considering what upgrades I could do for my own WHM (ie: Fylgja Torque +1 would be a better investment, or even getting a Pythia Sash [+1 would of course be the best curing belt in the game]). On the bright side of things, Pythia Sash makes the need for a Theta Sash pretty much obselete, and +1'd make Cleric's Belt worthless for *all* cures as it has no Conserve MP or Enmity-. And to think, I thought having Cleric's and Theta Sash was awesome. Still though, Cleric's is still the best hMP waist we've got, so it's still worth carrying around in the long run.

I swear, I resist every other repose in nyzul isle with maxed divine + apollo + af legs and then rest haste armor -.-

You shouldn't be having troubles in Nyzul.

AFAIK, the only mobs that would resist Repose in Nyzul are Chariots and Frogs. Chariots for obvious reasons, and frogs because they are immune to light.

Are you still a Tarutaru? Most of the people around here are Hume, Mithra, or Elvaan. I rarely resist Repose, but that's because I've got high base MND and I macro in MND gear (e.g., Errant Houppleande... I don't have Goliard Saio, nor would I trade off a minor reduction in recast for an improved chance to be resisted). Can't even be arsed to use Healer's Pantaloons because then I'd have to pull out the whole damned set.

Idle/PDT/etc:

Aiming to get Serpentes Cuffs and Sabots then this set's pretty much done. No more desire for Marduk hands for regen (and thus on WHM), and don't have gaiters, but if I do eventually they'd be easy enough to macro in when I'm running. Left ring's supposed to be a Jelly Ring >.>

Standard curing:

I'm fully aware of what needs replacing here. My goal is to eventually have 50% cure potency with a mix of enmity-/MND in other slots, and I know what I need to achieve it. Moogle hat, Shantotto pants, Orison Cape, Serpentes set. Currently I have 36%. Obtaining said items would not require Fylgja Torque at all to reach cure potency cap and I could choose to have more mp if I desired in the neck slot instead. I would, however, need it if I used Augur's Gloves and Marduk's Crackows instead of the Serpentes set. however, I would be over the cap, which isn't really a problem. Of course, I could use a MND body over Aristocrat's Coat if I used medicine ring by then (max possible cure potency via gear is 62-63% so 12%'d be easy to give up and I could do that with either combination).

Edit: After I took that SS, Cape's since been replaced with Orison Cape. My cure potency is at 39-49% now.

Cure 5-6:

Again, my goal here is to have 50% cure potency while having MND in other areas. I could upgrade waist to the MND+7 belt at some point. I do have MND earrings but I'm in the process of moving from Communion Earrings to Star Earrings, so I don't carry any at this time (yet), granted I only need 1 for this set if I wanted to give up the enmity- from Novia. In any case, I'm open to ideas. Yes, that ring's a Neptune's Ring, not a Sapphire Ring >_>

Edit: After I took that SS, Cape's since been replaced with Orison Cape. My cure potency is at 39-49% now.

This is a haste/conserve mp set for certain buffs that have recast timers that flat out annoy me. I macro in Cleric's Briault for Regen, of course. It's pretty much the same as it was when I last posted it.

I've got gear to improve divine magic acc as well as potency and change accordingly. For example, the Shadow Coat's for Repose, but I can use Marduk body with Holy/Banish for the heck of it (as well as novio+Moldavite). Basically a toss-up between the two sets but I know what I need to use.

Enfeebling:

I do have Nashira Seraweels, wouldn't mind Altruistic Cape at some point. I don't have much luck with Ix'drk, and as I said earlier, I don't have any MND earrings on me -at this time-, which I'm fixing soon.

Resting:

This is probably the set I'm most proud of in recent memory. It's almost perfect, with the exception of the lack of an Ariesian Grip and a Lore Robe +1. The neck's an Eidolon Pendant, and the waist is the hMP+4 belt from Walk of Echoes. The back's also the hMP cape from Walk of Echoes.



Overall:
I'm not really sure if I'm going to go for the Cure Potency on Selenian and the Shantotto pants, as I can reach more MND and Enmity- without those (I *THINK*)... will figure it out eventually. All I need now is a Fylgja Torque +1 and I can attain the 50% cure potency cap without Augur or Serpentes set; just need to fulltime the ring.

I also have decided to drop my Tamas soon for Rajas, so I'll be using a Metanoia Ring for the Enmity-5 and a Neptune's Ring when I want the MND+6.

Side note:
The relic trials piss me off too much, as I still don't have a Kraken Club, nor an Octave. I'm nowhere near done with the lv80 relic.

Yagrush progress:
My sig's outdated. I'm officially done with Alex and Ampoules, though it'll take me a long time to get this finished. I can only wonder how the Divine Bension on the lv80 version'll be enhanced.
