02 January 2013 - 07:58 AMShots like this bring back alot of memories of my own first dynamis, faf and other things.
Amazing how much has really changed. Simple things like training mobs to the zone, CN was such a bitch to enter sometimes.
Thanks for sharing.

07 December 2012 - 10:59 AMSE was losing money because people left because after 75 there was only so much to do before you got bored. Before they released abyssea and raised the level cap FFXI's population was spiraling down. So i doubt theyd bring that back. Even on a separate server.
This to some degree, but I do feel abyssea created a new and faster spiral.
At 75 there was only so much you can do endgame but things still had some challenge to it.
You couldn't solo dynamis.
The average player couldnt shit out a relic every 3-4 months themselves.
DL, PW still took an organized, well geared group.
AV was still a jerk.
...and as boring / retarded it was at times, I really like the thrill of trying to claim kings other HNMs over other groups before botting got rapid.
Now at 99,
there isn't any competition among LSs,
top gear can be achieved by anyone with little skill on there part.
NMs have gimmicks to kill.
Content becomes dated every fast.
Hopefully Seekers of Adoulin changes adds / changes things for the better rather then just giving us content off after a month or two.
I'd like more of a challenge a reason to get better gear to fight with.
add: To the OP, I don't think SE really cares about putting a lot of money in 11 (another sever with a different build of the game to maintain). The new baby is 14 and they're putting everything they have into it, this time.
