| Welcome to Killing Ifrit! KI is a free gaming community for active and non-active players of Final Fantasy XI and XIV. Users are expected to follow these basic guidelines when interacting with each other on the boards. If you feel that a user is acting inappropriately and violating these rules, please report the offending post by clicking on the corresponding "Report to a moderator" link. Keep in mind that your access to these boards is a privilege and not a right. The staff reserves the right to moderate and/or ban your access to the forums at any time. The following guidelines are not all inclusive and may occasionally be tweaked for further clarification. Racial/Ethnic/Sexual Orientation Users are expected to respect the racial, ethnic, and sexual status/orientation of others. Significant displays of ignorance or hatred based on race, nationality, or sexual preference will not be tolerated. Real life Users are expected to respect the privacy of others' real life information. Information that is publicly accessible by the general public will not considered as private. Malicious Programs/Warez Posting links to malicious viruses/programs or illegal programs are not allowed. Account Creation Users are only allowed to register one account for active use. Accounts created for the sole purpose of disrupting the community will be banned. Posting Etiquette Users are expected to refrain from trolling threads and to post with some level of maturity. Threads that have progressed far off topic or are heavily saturated with spam may be locked or deleted. Users are also expected to converse with a decent level of social aptitude. Consistently misspelling whole posts, consistently posting with extremely poor grammar, or consistently speaking completely incoherently will not be tolerated. Killling Ifrit will not be held responsible for copyright infringement posted by its users. We urge users to cite sources and link back to the original article / site when posting news or other copyrighted materiel. In the event proper credit is not given and we are notified by the author of plagiarizing, said material will be removed. If requested, information of said member will be provided to material's owner. Obscene/Vulgar behavior and Content Killing Ifrit is a work-safe forum. Straight up pornography and other obscene content is not allowed. Posts that do contain questionable material should be tagged with a noticeable "NSFW" and should be hidden in between [spoiler] tags. Harassment Harassing another user is prohibited. Flames, rants, and insults will generally not be considered harassment. Try to discuss the matter with the harasser before contacting a moderator to intervene. Keep in mind that moderators have the final say on the distinction between harassment and normal sass. Advertising Linking to sites for your own monetary profit or blatant advertising of non-personal websites is prohibited. Linking to referral sites is only allowed, in moderation, in your signature and personal page. Offers to sell in-game items and accounts for legal tender are prohibited. Signatures Signature images should not exceed 550 pixels wide by 250 pixels high and be under 80 KB. Signatures themselves can occupy a space of up to 600 pixels wide by 400 pixels high. Signatures that are larger than that may be edited accordingly. Moderator Interaction Forum moderators are here to keep the board clean, safe, and secure. Inappropriate behavior directed towards the moderators will not be tolerated. Users are free to PM the moderators with any questions regarding moderation. Killing Ifrit may add to, change or remove any part of the Code of Conduct at any time, without notice.
